Welcome to Global Locals e.V.—your home for connecting with the diverse community in and around Nuremberg. We’re a non-profit association that helps people build friendships, explore the city, and feel at home.

Through our social events like English Stammtisch Nuremberg, dozens of other activities, and our English-language magazine English Post Nuremberg, we provide a space for everyone—whether you’ve just arrived or you’ve lived here for years.

How does my membership make a difference?

As a non-profit, we rely on our members to keep our community thriving. Your fees are vital to our mission, directly supporting:

  • Website administration and server costs
  • Content creation and event organization
  • Promotional materials and insurance

By joining, you are not only gaining access to our community and events, you are also helping us continue to build a welcoming environment for everyone in Nuremberg.

Sounds great! How much does it cost?

We want to be accessible for everyone, whether you’re here for the long haul or just for a few months! Our annual membership fee is €65 a year.

Can’t commit for a whole year? We also have a monthly membership option of €9 per month which you can cancel anyplace, anytime!

To become a member, please complete the online application below. Our Member Regulations and Code of Conduct details membership fees, as well as the terms and conditions.

Note: Our annual membership lasts one year from when you sign up. If you sign up on October 5, 2025, your subscription will renew automatically on October 5, 2026, until you cancel.
